AfroQueens: Hawa

Hawa is a young woman from Stockholm. She was with her group of friends when I met her in this gorgeous yellow outfit. Very kind but shy, she let me capture her look while she was applying white dots and marks on her face. Every part of her look is mind-blowing.

AfroQueens: Chioma

Chioma is a young entrepreneur from New York City. She presented Cee Cee’s Closet, the brand she co-created with her sister, at Afropunk Paris.Their handmade creations are done by artisans in Nigeria and celebrate the beauty of West African prints. She wears one of their colourful designs in the pictures below.

Bernadette is probably the most striking personalities and beauties I have encountered at Afropunk Paris. The ebony colour of her skin, her smile and her gold & blue attire are everything. The embodiment of an afro beauty.

Assia caught my eye from afar, while she was talking to someone. Every part of her outfit is outrageously divine. The fabrics, their colours and how they compliment each other are such a testament to Africa’s beauty and diversity. And check out her make up and the jewels she wears, just splendid.
